šŸ What are you harvesting this season?

Start training today and harvest in 3 months!

AUTMHQ UPDATES Hola and Hello!

Like our President and CEO, Michael Ward Jr. said at our most recent meeting, "We are officially in the Fall season!" šŸšŸ‚ Who doesn't love the rusty hues, pumpkin spice flavors, cinnamon and apple aromas, and sweater weather ā€“ though sweater weather isn't always applicable in Texas. Fall is known as the time to harvest, so I'm curious: what are you harvesting this season? Have you ever heard the quote, "Your decisions today are your achievements tomorrow"? This is a powerful saying because, according to Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ), it means that if you enrolled in one of our cohort courses in March of this year, you have either completed it or are about to complete it and receive your certificate. Can you see what that means? You are now a better-prepared person, ready to pursue a career in technology and significantly increase your income. Yay! Please keep in mind that learning is a lifelong process. You can try to learn something new every day or set a goal of completing at least one course per year, both of which will greatly benefit you. This world is constantly changing, and so are we. If we want to stay competent, we must expand our knowledge. It's all about being exposed to new things and learning about them. It will eventually lead to you becoming a better version of yourself. Enroll now and start training if you want to be a newly certified professional in 3 to 6 months! Misinformation & Disinformation: ā€‹Technology Factors and Potential Solutions

Digital technologies such as the Internet and World Wide Web, social media platforms, and smartphones have greatly expanded the quantity of information produced and shared by humans and its reach, with tremendous positive benefits. However, these tools also enable the rapid creation and distribution of misinformation and disinformation, which can have significant negative ramifications for individuals and for society overall. Now, newer technologies including modern AI tools are enabling even more convincing false information to reach the most susceptible targets for consuming and sharing it, exacerbating the problems to new levels. Technologies are part of the misinformation/disinformation problems, but can technologiesā€”and their makersā€”be part of new solutions to fight it? How? And in the meantime, how can we protect ourselves, our companies, and our communities from being misled, accidentally or on purpose, and promote identification and refutation of falsehoods, and educational sharing of demonstrably accurate information?

Discussion of "The Metaverse: And How it Will Revolutionize Everything"

The metaverse is actually already hereā€”but in such early, limited forms that it may be difficult for some to understand and imagine just how powerful and revolutionary it canā€”and willā€”be. Matthew Ballā€™s new book, "The Metaverse: And How it Will Revolutionize Everything,ā€ is designed to open our minds to the possibilities and prepare us to visualize, or at least embrace, the tremendous growth in capabilities and importance of the multiverse. Join us for a lively discussion moderated by Hugh Forrest, Chief Programming Office of SXSW (and huge book lover). Read the book (or a summary), or just come listen to those who have, but above all come prepared to discuss possibilities, challenges, and what the future may hold for our companies, school, daily lives, and more!
